Silver Witchetty

Large, gnarly seed pods are produced after good rains. Occurs sporadically mostly on gravely hills or along watercourses throughout the northern arid parts of the NT and WA.

Bushfood , Traditional Use: The green seeds are harvested and eaten. Warlpiri and Pintupi people used fibre from the inner bark as bandages or for making bark sandals.
