Attractive Garden Plant: A fast-growing, slender shrub with bluish leaves, droopy foliage and bright red stems. It occurs only in scattered populations in spinifex country around salt lakes
in northern SA and desert regions of the NT, WA and NSW. It is now commonly cultivated, and
although short-lived, is an attractive feature in gardens around Alice Springs.
