For many years I have painted in the Northern Territory.  I was fortunate to stay in some communities there.  The landscape of these areas and the people in them have been the source of my subject matter.

Staying in aboriginal communities on Melville Island, Delissaville and Lagamanu, my work shows  very different locations.  Also I am always overwhelmed by the vastness of the land, the harshness and grandeur of the landscape as well as the daily life of those in this landscape.

I have worked as a volunteer in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney for many years.  It seems fitting to show my work at the Olive Pink Botanic Garden.

I have had a number  of exhibitions in Sydney with paintings of the Northern Territory and as my daughter, son-in-law and grandson now have lived in Alice Springs for some years I will continue to paint in this area and hopefully exhibit here.
