Would you like to join us to, save large River Red Gums along the Todd River, meet a great bunch of people and get some good exercise?olive pink botanic garden landcare 2019

If yes, then come along to one of our working bees.

The Olive Pink Landcare Group is removing buffel grass from the base of trees, which reduces the risk of these majestic beauties being burnt to the ground.

DATES:

  • Weekly: Wednesday & Friday
  • Monthly: 2nd Saturday of the month
  • 9 Feb, 9 Mar, 13 Apr, 11 May

TIME: 6.30am-7.30am

MEETING PLACE: The Todd River, 93 Barrett Drive (Opposite Lasseter’s Health Club)

WHAT TO BRING: A pair of gardening gloves, covered footwear, pants, sun protection (hats, sunscreen etc), water and a mattock. We can provide some mattocks and gloves if you don’t have them.

FOOD: A light morning tea will be provided.
