Directions and Map:
Olive Pink Botanic Garden is located close to the Alice Springs Central Business District,on the eastern bank of the (mostly dry) Todd River, and it is within walking distance from town, and from many of the motels and other tourist attractions. Click to see a map of Alice Springs that shows the location of Olive Pink Botanic Garden.
If you are driving into town along the Stuart Highway (the main north-south highway linking Adelaide, Alice Springs and Darwin) turn east onto Stott Terrace on the southern edge of the Alice Springs CBD. From Stott Terrace turn right (south) onto South Terrace at the roundabout just before crossing Todd River. Take the first turn to your left (Tuncks Rd) and cross over the river causeway, Olive Pink Botanic Garden entrance is to your left, just opposite the intersection with Barrett Drive.
There is also a bicycle and walking footpath on the western bank of the Todd River, and this links easily to the Tuncks Rd causeway and our main entrance gate. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the Garden from either downtown Alice Springs, or from popular accomodation along Barrett Drive.
The Botanic Gardens is a not for profit organisation with DGR status funded by the Northern Territory Government and philanthropic contributions. For further information on making a tax deductable donation please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
